My World, My Way Art Exhibition

The Art Gallery, Penang is proud to present My World, My Way, a meaningful exhibition that celebrates the voices and visions of neurodiverse artists.

This project began last year when we were approached by Jo-Anne De Vries, mother of Ethan Adam Cheong and Founder & Director of BeBOTS — a special needs skills training hub dedicated to nurturing and inspiring students towards independent and successful living. Together with Penang Hidden Gems, we curated this exhibition featuring seven remarkable neurodiverse artists: Ethan Adam Cheong, Jaden Ong Yong Zheng, Jessica Ong En Qi, Lee Guo Jing, Lim Kian Fang, Rumi Syahril, and Tai Shang Shu.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Penang Hidden Gems, BeBOTS, our sponsorship partner, Penang Arts Council, and the artists’ guardians for their trust and support in bringing this project to life.

My World, My Way celebrates individuality, creativity, and authentic self-expression. Step into the diverse worlds of our artists – each one filled with sensitivity, strength, and a unique vision that invites us to see the world through a different lens.
